NEWS SAMPLE LIBRARIES HAUPTWERK CONSOLES PROJECTS AUDIO CASEWORK SERVICES MISCELLANY ABOUT US ORDERING

Since we are affiliated to a pipe organ building company, it follows that we are able to design and supply casework to any design that might be required.

Obviously, the considerable amounts of speakers required for a successful Hauptwerk installation not only take up space but also require some sort of means to arrange them. Of course it is possible to place all of the speakers in an existing organ gallery or in a triforium with or without fronting pipe or grille casework. In some cases, there is an existing case and frame from a former organ which has been retained by the church which can be used. However, for the majority of installations the most logical and economical solution is to use an arrangement of builders scaffolding which allows for several different levels both in the horizontal and the vertical planes and is easily adjustable as required. There is the added advantage that it can be free standing and not physically attached to any part of the building fabric which is especially important in historical edifices.

If the scaffolding is to be installed in an existing organ chamber, there may be very little that needs to be added apart from basic screening but in a free standing situation some means of disguising both the scaffolding and multiple speakers  will be desirable. This can be accomplished  by providing some form of casework to a suitable design.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements further.
